Meet The Animal Encounters People

We’re delighted to welcome The Animal Encounters People to our Open Day, bringing along a fascinating range of animals, including a variety of exotic species.

Visitors can take part in 30-minute animal encounter sessions, offering the opportunity to get up close, handle and learn about these incredible animals under expert supervision. Sessions are available throughout the day and are suitable for animal lovers of all ages.

Animal Encounter Sessions: £15 per person

All profits will be shared between Vetlife and The Animal Encounters Charity, helping to support members of the veterinary profession and provide ongoing care for rescued animals.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your animal encounter session on the day!

Apprenticeship Pathways at GVNC

Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare Apprenticeship
This programme provides an excellent introduction to the animal care sector and is ideal for those looking to build foundational knowledge and practical skills. Apprentices gain valuable experience while working alongside professionals in animal care environments, creating a strong platform for future progression.

Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Apprenticeship
Our Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are ready to develop the clinical skills and professional knowledge required to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). Apprentices combine structured learning with practical training in veterinary practices, preparing them for a successful and rewarding career in veterinary healthcare.
