This year’s Halloween Raffle was a terrific success, bringing staff and students together for a bit of seasonal fun while supporting an important cause. Thanks to the student’s generosity, the raffle raised over £260 for VetLife, helping to fund essential support services for veterinary professionals.

Participants had the chance to win a range of GVNC merchandise and chocolate treats, all of which added to the excitement and friendly competition.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, bought tickets, and helped spread the word. Your enthusiasm made this fundraiser both enjoyable and impactful.

📖 LEARNING HIGHLIGHTS

Pharmacokinetics

Our 0924 cohort enjoyed a morning of hands-on learning as they applied key concepts of pharmacokinetics. In groups, they were challenged to create posters on a drug of their choice, putting their understanding of medicines firmly to the test. The range and quality of the posters produced was truly impressive, with careful attention to detail evident in every entry. After much deliberation, a winner was chosen – and it was clear that the balloon dachshund captured everyone’s imagination!
